Do you want to learn how to use your camera and take great photos?
John Ansell Photography runs several "Learn your DSLR Camera" photography courses each year.
During 2017 we will be running our courses over a single day in Traralgon. In conjuntion with that, there will be after course support and contact with John, if you have any questions or wish to clear up anything you covered on the course. There is a maximum of 6 students per course giving everybody a chance to ask questions and recieive individual attention.
Our Learn your DSLR Camera Course is designed to help you can understand how your camera works and what you can do to take better photographs. The course will be covering the basics of photography with an emphasis on of shutter speeds, aperture and exposure settings. The basics of just what your camera is trying to do before you push the button. Spoiler alert …There is some maths involved so brush up on your Grade 6 maths. As well there will be a little bit about the use of flash, white balance, software and storing images. We don’t spend a lot of time on software as it is such a vast subject.
During all of this we chat about a range of other subjects such as lens selection, buying a camera and anything else that interests you. You are strongly encouraged to bring along your cameras. If you do not have a DSLR then we can lend you one for the course.
Pens, course notes and blank paper will be provided. Feedback from previous courses has been fantastic with many students commenting that they can’t believe how simple it can be when explained clearly.
